May 6, 2026 - SINGULARORBIT Announces Q4 2026 BETA for SPASE Parachute Simulation Software
SINGULARORBIT announced plans to open BETA 1.0 of its Single Parachute Aerodynamics Simulation Engineering (SPASE) software to registered users beginning November 26, 2026. SPASE is being developed as a specialized engineering tool for the computational modeling and analysis of parachute aerodynamics. Parachute simulation presents complex engineering challenges, including the interaction between airflow and flexible fabric structures, rapidly changing conditions during deployment, and the geometric complexity of parachute systems.
Access to the initial SPASE BETA will be limited to registered users. Following the release, SINGULARORBIT plans to convene participating users to discuss their initial impressions, identify issues, and gather input on potential enhancements as development continues.
Those interested in participating in the BETA or learning more about SPASE can contact contact@singularorbit.space.
SPASE is part of SINGULARORBIT's Advanced Concepts division, which develops specialized engineering software for government and commercial space
applications.
